The Kot Lakhpat Jail superintendent will appear before court on April 10 with record of a convict named Azam Ali confined in a murder case. The High Court's orders came following a petition filed by Shaukat Ali accusing the jail superintendent of releasing Ali illegally. He said the convict had received life imprisonment for murdering Karamt Ali.
