As many as 40 workers received burn injuries when a fire broke out in Pak-China Chemical Factory's godown at Raiwind Road. Edhi Foundation sources said here on Wednesday that fire caused Rs 40 million losses to the owner of the factory. Seven units of Rescue-1122 reached the spot and brought the fire under control after four hours hectic effort.
However, the reasons of the fire could not be ascertained. Edhi ambulances shifted the injured workers to Jinnah Hospital, Mumtaz Bakhtawar Hospital, and Sharif Medical City Complex.
