The Karachi Port handled 53,199 tonnes cargo including 22,831 tonnes import, 30,368 tonnes export cargo and 3,623 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday. The cargo comprised of 52,199 tonnes dry cargo including 39,430 tonnes general cargo; 12,769 tonnes Bulk Cargo and 1,000 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Seven ships namely Cap Colorado, Faith-1, Kapitan Byankin, Alfred Oldendorf, MT Swat, Torm Anholt and Winco Silvia sailed out to sea during the report period. Two vessels viz Al-Rahalah 1 and Winco Silvia are currently at the berths. One ship namely Ninth Ocean expected to sail on Thursday, while another vessel viz Al Mansourah is expected to sail on Friday.
Four vessels viz Ianuk, Chembulk Ulsan, Bulk Arrow and Manisamut Naree due to arrive on Thursday, while eight ships namely Lalazar, Sp 5-Eric G Gibson, Harmony, Ym Inauguration, Apl Tulip, Hansa Liberty, Oel Spirit and Maria L are due to arrive on Friday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 93,410 tonnes comprising 84,100 tonnes import and 9,310 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,132 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 48,935 tonnes Diesel Oil; 8,437 tonnes Wheat; 7,843 tonnes Chemicals; 9,075 tonnes Coal; 3,574 tonnes Cement and 15,548 tonnes containerised cargo. Four ships namely CV Inori, MV Skua, MT Sinar Agra and MV Lady Giovi sailed out to sea on Thursday morning, while another vessel viz MT Al-Soor-II is expected to sail on the same day afternoon.
A total of eight ships namely Theoniki, Cerigo, Sea Lion, Al-Salam-II, Donna V, Hyderabad, Shadwan Island and Ibn Sina carrying Wheat, Crude Oil, Furnace Oil, Diesel Oil, Fertilisers, Rice, Cement and Containers respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Seven vessels viz CV Inori, MV Ataqa, MT Steel Might, MV Skua, MT Al-Soor-II, MT Sinar Agra and MV Lady Giovi are currently occupying berths to load/offload Containers, Cement, Wheat, Diesel Oil, Chemicals and Coal respectively during last 24 hours.
Three ships namely MV Theoniki, CV Ibn Sina and MT Sea Lion due to take berths at Multi Purpose Terminal, Container Terminal and FOTCO Terminal respectively on Thursday. Container vessel CMA CGM Puget due to arrive on Thursday, while four more ships namely CV Maersk Novazzano, CV Sima Paya, MT Chembulk Ulsan and MT Artistry carrying Containers and Palm Oil respectively are due to arrive on Friday. Three more vessels viz Oxi Victory, Qem Star and Scan Atlantic carrying Project Cargo and Chemicals are also due to arrive.
