Healthy extra-curricular activities help students improve their skills besides giving them courage to move forward in their educational career with determination, said Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Saeeda Asadullah Khan on Friday.
She was addressing the awards distribution ceremony of the '2nd Rock climbing competition 2008', held at Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU). The Rock climbing competition was held on March 8 and 9 on Margalla Hills, Islamabad.
Dr Saeeda congratulated students on their achievements and said: "Indeed it is an honour and privilege for us. We should appreciate the efforts in term of participation," she added. Zunara Arooj and Amna Bibi achieved 3rd and 2nd positions respectively.
