The National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) is contributing greatly for uplifting social life of the people by strengthening educational aspects and providing health facilities and creating awareness among the masses, said members of Parliament when they visited the district offices of NCHD in Punjab.
While visiting NCHD office in Muzaffargarh, Jamshed Dasti MNA said that NCHD is the crucial factor for promoting literacy in the district. MNA Mumtaz Alam Gillani and Tariq Amin Hotiana MPA visited Bahawalnagar office and said NCHD is the organisation to achieve those goals by extending facilitation to government line departments. They also appreciated the establishment of Feeder School in the remote areas of the district. They also extolled the facilitation efforts of NCHD in achieving the enrolment targets.
During visit to NCHD Sheikhupura Office, Ghulam Ahmed Nabi MPA said the role of NCHD in achieving Universal Primary Education Goals and Primary Health Care was commendable. In Mandi Bahaudin Tariq Tarar, MNA, and Tariq Mehmood Sahi, MPA, were briefed by NCHD district team about the Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS), health and education programmes of NCHD.
Chaudhry Imtiaz Safdar Warraich MNA visited the NCHD office of Hafizabad and appreciated the facilitation efforts of NCHD in achieving the enrolment targets and desired for continuation of the NCHD programmes in the district.
