PML-N has said that it is ready to reconcile with MQM if Altaf Hussain renounces terrorism and unconstitutional steps of Pervez Musharraf. Addressing a crowded press conference here at Model Town on Saturday, PML-N spokesman Saddique-ul-Farooq said we have no animosity with Altaf Hussain or MQM and if he ends his so-called self-exile under NRO we will welcome him and send a special charter plane to bring him back.
"Altaf Hussain has to abandon the terrorist group running by Saleem Shahzad and hand over lists of terrorists and surrender unlawful arms to the government," he said. He said if Altaf Hussain does not want to come back within ten days, we would take the matter with the British government officially adding that the soil of Britain is being used for terrorist activities in Pakistan.
Saddique-ul-Farooq said most of the people were killed on the directives of Saleem Shahzad who is running a terrorist group in Karachi. Referring to Altaf Hussain's statement, in which he said that May 12 and other terrorist incidents should be investigated by the United Nations, PML-N spokesman said Parliament is the sole representative institution of the people, therefore, Parliament will form a judicial committee to probe such heinous crimes. He said United Nations' technical assistance could be asked for.
The entire world knows that under the patronage of Altaf Hussain, MQM receives money in the shape of "Batha" from the businessmen in Karachi and Hyderabad, PML-N spokesman said. He said more than twenty billion rupees of Batha is spent on the luxury life of Altaf Hussain annually in London. Saddique-ul-Farooq said MQM has full support of Pervez Musharraf on its terrorist activities on 12 May last year and on 9 April 2008.
