Trader Action Committee (TAC) will organise a shopping festival in main markets for three months from May 2, to boost sales. Chairman TAC Siddique Memon said here on Saturday permission have been acquired from City District Government Karachi (CDGK) for holding this festival, which will not only help in boosting sales of shop owners, but also provide opportunities to consumers to buy the required merchandise at reasonable prices.
He pointed out that sales have declined by 50 percent due to sky rocketing prices and fast decline in the purchasing power of people in the country. He said shopping festival would be held during the day while night bazaars will be organised in three main markets including Saddar, Tariq Road and Clifton from 10 p.m to 2 a.m.-APP
