Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that the talks with MQM have been resumed after a brief deadlock aimed at maintenance of peace and restoration of law and order situation in the province.
He said this while talking to the media men at Moen-Jo-Daro airport after arrival from Karachi in a special plane to offer Fateha at the mazars of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Bux with 21 new cabinet members on Saturday.
He said the reconciliation with MQM would be finalised and the talks will succeed in the final round. He said the investigation into the Karachi incident of April 9, which is under the process and high level inquiry will be conducted to disclose the truth before the public.
Sindh Chief Minister said the interest of every body in Sindh to be safeguarded, including the shortage of irrigation water and distributed of resources. He said the measures will be taken in connection with irrigation water to fulfil the requirement of tale end Abadgars.
Qaim Ali Shah said there is need of small dams, otherwise, precious agri-water could not be saved and ultimately, we have to face scarcity in future. He said the present government of PPP will try its best to implement the manifesto in which the problems of un-employment, education, energy and environment will be addressed under the policy of the government.
Qaim Ali said the development projects will be provided to the people of Larkana on priority basis according to guideline of Benazir Bhutto. He said our party believe in democracy and dialogue with all political parties for welfare of people of province. Chief Minister announced Chandka Medical College as Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Medical University Larkana.
They all visited the mausoleum of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto. They offered Fateha and laid floral wreaths on their graves. Provincial Minister for Information Shazia Mari talking to a group of newsmen here at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto said that the present government believes in the freedom of press and added that positive role of electronic and print media will be welcomed.
Home Minister Zulfikar Mirza said that law and order situation would be ensured at all cost and the criminals will be dealt strictly. All out efforts will be made to control the crime at grass route level, he added.
