PML-N Punjab Vice President and MNA Malik Muhammad Afzal Khokhar has said on Saturday democracy has prevailed in the country and the promises made to the nation on restoration of judges would be fulfilled.
He told reporters on Saturday that "We would raise our voices for strengthening of democracy, independence of judiciary and free media and we would continue to do so," he added. He said his party parliamentarians would always strive for solving the problems of the masses. The 30-day countdown for restoration of judges has started and promise made to the nation would be fulfilled.
The previous government has left behind a legacy of problems, inflation and hatred but they would try their ample best to rid the nation of these problems and would devise a counter strategy with the allied parties in this regard.
Meanwhile, while addressing a party meeting PML-N Punjab former media secretary Muhammad Nasir Iqbal Khan and Sajjad Hussain have said Mian Shahbaz Sharif has won hearts of people by announcing to turn Chief Minister House into IT University.
He said Shahbaz Sharif had an elaborate programme for resolution of all problems of the people and reports about his becoming next chief executive of the province have sent a wave of happiness and jubilation across the province.
