The US Assistant Press Attaché Megan Ellis has said that the US prefers Pakistani students in issuing visas as the US universities wish to give admission to the Pakistani students due to their devotion and good character. She was talking to the agency on the occasion of Students Fair in partnership with the US Education Foundation in Pakistan here on Saturday.
She said that more than 4,000 universities are functional where the foreign students are being imparted education. She said that standard universities in the US are providing quality education to the foreigners.
To a question Megan Ellis said that all the reports published in the newspapers are not correct. However, she said that the visa process takes sometime, therefore, the students should wait. She also called upon the student visa-seekers to get information about the relevant law so that they could not face any difficulty in US.
