Federal Minister for Science and Technology and PML-N leader Tehmina Daultana said the doors are open for Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), if it mends its attitude. Addressing a function in Lahore, Tehmina said that all the coalition partners wanted restoration of the deposed judges and hopefully there would be no need for countdown.
She said the present set up believes in rendering sincere services to the masses and we will try our best to come up to their expectations by resolving their problems at the earliest. She said the government will ensure maintenance of law and order and will never allow incidents like Karachi and Lahore to happen again.
To a question, she said Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan is our national hero and matters concerning him would be resolved in an amicable manner. She said people rendered great sacrifices for democracy which will be strengthened by making the parliament sovereign. Tehmina further said the new policy for the advancement of science and technology for 100 days will soon be sent to the Prime Minister for approval.
