The School of Leadership, an enterprise with a social mandate of developing the human factor, announced the launch of Young Leaders' Conference (YLC), 2008. Theme for this year's conference is "Bataa Teri Raza Kya Hai?"
YLC aims to create awareness of the immense leadership possibilities in a multi-disciplinary context and to inspire youth to discover and apply their leadership potential.
This year, 300 youth will gather at Hotel Ramada Plaza, Karachi Airport during July 1-6. Participants will be engaged in diverse learning experiences including panel discussions, hands-on workshops, field trip, debates, discussions and presentations.
"YLC is a highly energetic, demanding and rigorous programme to cater to personal leadership development and competency enhancement. To date, 40 international participants from 29 countries and 370 local participants have registered for YLC 2008", said Sana Nizamani, Conference Manager of YLC 2008. "Alumni will return home with greater zeal and quest of how to be part of progressive world and become leaders in their respective communities," she added.
Various social, public and private sector organisations are also partnering with SoL in this initiative including the lead sponsor English Biscuit Manufactures, Mobilink, Ufone, National Bank of Pakistan, Bank Alfalah, TCS, HUB power company, Dewan Mushtaq Motor Company, Thal Engineering, Fauji Fertilisers, FM 101, House of Habib and Swiss Airline.
School of Leadership has been organising YLC across Pakistan since 2002. Its mission is to "Cultivate Distinction"; the process of bringing out the best in each individual.-PR
