The Board of Directors of Atlas Asset Management Limited (AAML) have announced an interim bonus for the nine months ended March 31, 2008 for its Atlas Income Fund (AIF). AIF declared an interim bonus of 5 percent of the par value of its units equivalent to 4,8897 bonus units on the ex-bonus value of 511.28 per unit for every 100 units held as on March 31, 2008.
Unit Holders who have opted for cash payout will receive cash dividend after deduction of applicable taxes. AAML currently manages four mutual funds, three of which are open-end, Atlas Income Fund, Atlas Stock Market Fund, and Atlas Islamic Fund. The fourth is a closed-end fund, Atlas Fund of Funds. AAML is also managing Atlas Pension Fund and Atlas Pension Islamic Fund, under the Voluntary Pension System Rules, 2005.-PR
