The NWFP Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti said on Tuesday that he will visit Chitral district in near future where he will announce a developmental package for the area.
Talking to a delegation from district Chitral led by president of Awami National Party (ANP), Syed Zafar Ali Shah, who called on him here at his office, the chief minister said that his government was aware of the problems of the backward areas of the province.
He said that his government wanted uniform development of the province, saying no discrimination will be tolerated in this regard. "We will bring at par the backward and neglected parts of the province with the developed ones," Ameer Haider Khan Hoti declared.
The delegation apprised the chief minister of the problems being faced by the dwellers of district Chitral. Hoti said that establishing a school for girls and launching a bus service in the district was under consideration and his government will leave no stone unturned in providing relief to the people of remote areas.
