Nazim Union Council Kabal and Manager State Life were killed near here and four others injured on Monday morning when their vehicles collided as a result of brutal firing by unknown armed accused. According to eyewitnesses the vehicles of Nazim Muhammad Hussain and Manager State Life Muhammad Ishaq came under fire by the armed accused near Hazara Bridge.
Both the vehicles turned turtle as a result of indiscriminate firing, killing both the nazim and Manager on the spot. The injured included Mumtaz s/o Manager State Life and his friend Ghulam Rabbani, Fazal Hussain brother and mother of the nazim. It is yet to be ascertained as to which vehicle the accused wanted to hit, said a police official. The police have registered the case and started investigations.
