The Punjab Food Department (PFD) has received 38,812 metric tonnes of wheat in its current wheat procurement drive this year. "The department has also distributed over 41, 73,000 gunny bags (bardana) to growers from its centres set up across the province," said a department spokesman here on Wednesday.
