The main Sui gas pipeline of thirty inch diameter for Punjab was blown up by some unknown saboteurs on Saturday night near Sui, Aaj TV reported. The TV channel, quoting government sources, said that seven feet portion of the main Sui gas pipeline was damaged due to explosion.
The another gas pipeline of twenty four inch diameter running parallel was also damaged. The gas supply to the thirty percent areas was suspended due to the damage, the TV added.
