A 40-member Pak young entrepreneur delegation from corporate sector will attend 'World Islamic Economic Forum's (WIEF) Young Leaders Forum 2008' being held in Kuwait on April 28.
The young entrepreneurs from all Muslim countries will assemble at the young leaders' forum comprising three sessions that would focus on how to fully harness the natural and indigenous resources with one on one interaction among businessmen within Muslim block for the quick betterment and welfare of the Muslims.
After introductory remarks by Jamal Ahmad Al-Shihab, Minister for Justice, Social Affairs and Labour Kuwait, during coffee talk session, the issues and challenges towards a better living will be taken up. In various parts of the world, there are different impediments facing Muslim youth ranging from social identity to job prospects.
The leader of Pak delegation, Tariq Sayeed told APP here on Saturday that after 9/11 incident, Muslim youths have been subjected to discrimination and facing problems for doing business. This will provide an opportunity to young businessmen to learn from the experience of their seniors, particularly, the strategy to counter the situation by projecting good image of Muslims world-wide especially in business sector.
In plenary session, the theme of the topic will be "Peer to peer network in the Muslim World: institutionalising mentorship programme." He said knowledge sharing is a key ingredient towards a cohesive and enlightened society. During the concluding session, Chairman, World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) Dato Nazir Razak will present report on all the sessions.
Iftikhar Ali Malik said that another two Pak delegation of business women and businessmen from corporate sector will also attend separate seminars on "Islamic Countries: Partners in the Global Development" and "Capacity Building and Synergistic linkage-the way to success" at Kuwait. Iftikhar Ali Malik will represent Pakistan in both these moots.
