Mother of slain DSP dies of cardiac arrest

The mother of slain DSP, Ashiq Hussain Marth, died at Chak 429-JB, Marthanwala on Sunday. Reports said that she experienced cardiac arrest while sitting with some women visitors, who came to condole with her and died before being shifting to hospital.
Sources from the local people said that scores of area people including a large number of police officers attended her funeral prayer. It is worth mentioning that the DSP Marth was shot dead by a proclaimed offender, Iqbal Bali and his two accomplices last week over an enmity.
