The District Co-ordination Officer (DCO), Larkana, Abdul Aziz Uaqaili, has urged the field officers of National Programme for Improvement of Watercourses (NPIW) in the district to redouble their efforts for completing their work on watercourses. He said this while presiding over a meeting to review the progress of construction of watercourse in the district here on Tuesday.
The DCO warned of taking necessary actions against those field officers who are not working up to the mark and fulfilling their responsibilities properly. He stressed the need to develop co-ordination between NPIW field officers and Irrigation department, if any hindrance occurred in the construction of watercourses the concerned Mukhtiarkars and their staff in their respective areas will help them to sort out the problems in this regard. The DO Revenue, Larkana, Agha Khalid, DDO (HRM) Asadullah Abro, attended the meeting, DO NPIW & ADs of 09 field teams of the programme, Mukhtiarkars and other concerned officials.
