Raw sugar futures on ICE Futures US at 8:51 am EDT (1251 GMT) for the month of July fell 0.17 cent to 11.89 cents per lb. Range at 11.83 to 12.12 cents. July contract volume at 15,524 lots. Liquidation of positions in spot May deflated market before contract expires tomorrow, dealers said.
Open interest in May delivery at 47,448 lots as of last Friday from previous 51,454 lots. Traders believe actual open interest down to 20,000 to 25,000 lots at Monday's close.
