Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa on Wednesday assured that the new government would resolve the problems inherited from the last regime.He held the past government responsible for shortage of electricity, flour and gas, lawlessness and unemployment.
While speaking at a function here on Wednesday, he said the PML(N) leadership persistently said that leadership of Pervez Musharraf was detrimental to the country. It was a consistent stand of his party's leadership that the flawed policies of PML-Q would be harmful to the country, he reminded.
"Our first priority is to reform the system," he added. The Chief Minister pointed out that the far-flung areas of districts Rajanpur and Dera Ghazi Khan still lack basic amenities of life. Brushing aside the criticism of opposition, he said the nation asks the previous government what it did to wipe out poverty and ignorance from Pakistan. The nation is in the midst of a crisis and the government led by PML-N will come up to the expectations of the people, he resolved.
Member provincial assembly Sher Ali Gorchani presented the welcome address and apprised the Chief Minister about the problems faced by the area. The Chief Minister instantly issued orders for the redressal of the grievances and approved new road projects.
President PML-N Punjab Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khosa blamed the previous government for economic instability and financial hardships of the people.He recalled that the last regime ruthlessly looted the national exchequer and wasteful expenditure was made on advertisement campaigns.
