The 6th Convocation of the Baqai Medical University (BMU) was held here on Wednesday, says a press release. The university awarded degrees to 813 students of Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Basic Medical Sciences, Health Management Sciences, Nursing and Biological Sciences, the release said.
The BMU Chancellor, Professor FU Baqai presided over the ceremony while the Advisor to Governor on Education, Yousuf Jamal was the chief guest at the occasion. The Vice Chancellor of the university, Lieutenant General Syed Azhar Ahmed (Retd) said that the Baqais were the first to introduce 'Community Oriented Medical Education' curriculum in the country.-PR
