A division bench of Balochistan High Court (BHC) here on Wednesday issued notices to the general manager SSGCL and deputy engineer of the company for June 24 in disconnecting gas supply to Jahangirabad village in Pishin district case.
The bench comprising Chief Justice Amanullah Khan Yasinzai and Justice Akhtar Zaman Malghani issued the notices while hearing a joint constitutional petition filed by one Jahangir Khan along with four others submitting that the deputy engineer SSGCL Pishin region disconnected the gas supply to Killi Jahangirabad village without any reason and prior notice on February 5, 2008.
They pleaded that the deputy engineer had disconnected the gas supply on the basis of personal dispute with a resident of the village due to which the whole inhabitants are suffering in the village.
