After striking a power-sharing agreement with Pakistan People's Party (PPP), a delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), headed by provincial minister Abdul Haseeb, visited village Wahar in Dadu district on Sunday and condoled for a former Sindh chief minister, Abdullah Shah.
The delegation members expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and fortitude to the grieved family to bear the irreparable loss.
Other delegation members were Babar Ghauri and Kanwar Jamil. PPP Sindh Minister Mazharul Haq was also present on the occasion. Talking to media, MQM leaders said that their alliance with PPP would bridge the gap between the people of urban and rural areas of Sindh. The PPP and MQM would now jointly work to resolve the lingering problems of the people across the province, they added.
