Bulls failed to snatch floor from the bears on Thursday at the Islamabad Stock Exchange where ISE-10 Index showed a decrease of 23.62 points, as it moved from 3,157.86 to 3,134.24 points. The overall turnover amounted to 2,193,100 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,384,900 shares.
Total 131 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (70) closed in negative territory, 60 closed in positive zone, whereas one company remained pegged to its overnight levels.
The volume of Fauji Fertiliser Bin Qasim was 357,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 213,000 shares. The volume of NIB Bank was 238,500 shares. The turnover of Arif Habib Securities was 325,800 shares as compared to previous volume of 96,400 shares.
