Advisor to the Prime Minister on Interior Rehman Malik met MQM leader Altaf Hussain on Thursday evening and discussed various issues pertaining to domestic politics in Pakistan.
During their meeting at the MQM International Secretariat at Edgware, North London, which lasted nearly three hours, they exchanged views relating to the restoration of judiciary, consolidation of democracy, strengthening the coalition government in Sindh and maintenance of law and order situation in Karachi.
Rahman, earlier, accompanied PPP Co-Chairperson Asif Zardari to London from Pakistan for talks with PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif on the judiciary matter. This meeting will take place on Friday afternoon at the Park Lane residence of the PML-N Chief. Zardari will also meet MQM leader during the course of his short stay in the British capital.
