The Karachi Port handled 104,006 tonnes cargo including 60,348 tonnes import, 43,658 tonnes export cargo and 3,865 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday. The cargoes comprised of 95,690 tonnes dry cargo including 47,683 tonnes general cargo; 48,007 tonnes Bulk Cargo and 8,316 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Six ships namely Ever Given, Sinar Bintan, Stolt Markland, Hanjin Qingdao, Tower Bridge and Bengal Orchid sailed out to sea during the report period. Six vessels viz Hyundai Admiral, Sp 5-Eric G Gibson, Conti Harmony, St. Irene, Ahmed Junior and Pequod are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Conti Harmony, Adrekhi, St. Irene and Hyundai Admiral expected to sail on Saturday, while two vessels viz Leopard and Bulk Arrow are expected to sail on Sunday.
Three vessels viz Lucky Arrow, Noor-e-Madina, and Sorting Jad due to arrive on Saturday, while four ships namely Gem of Dahej, Cosco Karachi, Cape Arago and Sima Pride are due to arrive on Sunday. Five ships namely Bunga Melati Satu, Itha Bhum, Kapitan Byankin, Limari, and Jin Chuan Men due to arrive on Monday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 100,553 tonnes comprising 79,725 tonnes import and 20,828 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 2,645 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 6,715 tonnes Palm Oil; 8,447 tonnes Wheat; 6,229 tonnes Iron Ore; 5,444 tonnes Cement; and 35,829 tonnes containerised cargo. Two ships namely CV Dubai and CV Maersk Novazzano sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while two ships viz., MT Arius and MV Kestrel-1 are expected to sail on Saturday.
A total of nine ships namely CMA CGM Rose, Marabou, Al-Salam-II, Oversea Rein Mar, Nord Voyager, Raissa Ayu, Doris, Helen and Bengal Orchid carrying Containers, Crude Oil, Diesel Oil, Coal, Palm Oil and Chemicals respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Seven vessels viz CV Maersk Novazzano, MV Bernice, MV Tiran Island, MV Kestrel-I, MT Transport, MV Barcelona Bright and MT Arius are currently occupying berths to load/offload Containers, Cement, Wheat, Palm Oil, Iron Ore and Diesel Oil respectively during the report period.
Three ships namely CV CGM Rose, MV Nord Voyager and MT Marabou are expected to take berths at Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal and Fotco Terminal respectively on Saturday. Three ships namely CV MV Kaghan, MT Sinar Agra and MT Vema Ocean carrying Iron Ore, Chemicals and Furnace Oil are due to arrive on Saturday, while another container ship MSC Tia is due to arrive on Sunday.
