Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa has said that the provision of basic facilities to the masses is the top most priority of the present government and necessary steps are being taken for the purpose. He said that the government is committed to uplift the backward areas of the province.
Addressing a public meeting at Garhmaharaja, District Jhangon on Sunday, he said that 16 bullet-proof vehicles were under the use of former chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi for his protection, as he was afraid of people due to his anti-public policies.
Khosa said that the restoration of deposed judges was very important in terms of provision of Justice to the people of Pakistan. "If people do not get justice, the solidarity of the country would be at stake", he observed. He said that all those government officials would be removed who had worked like the personal employees of the past rulers.
