Lahore Electricity Supply Company Wapda has regularised services of 954 contract employees performing two years of service satisfactory on May 10, 2008 employed in various formations of utility in accordance with the settlement reached between 'Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Central Labour Union' and Wapda Authority.
This was revealed in information of the Labour Union received here on Sunday. Khurshid Ahmad, General Secretary of the Labour union along with other office bearers have offered their felicitations to the regularised workmen and hoped that their regularisation would provide better services to Wapda consumers.
