Religious scholar from India, Mufti Mukarram Ahmed, visited Al Mustafa Medical Centre, run by a local group of religious teachers, and also appreciated their spirit to provide free of charge medical services to people in need.
Mufti Mukarram who is also the Khatib at Jama Masjid Fatehpuri, Delhi said initiative to run a chain of medical facilities in private sector, with a strong belief that it was in service to Allah almighty was highly appreciable.
He said the spirit and the practice needed to be replicated by Muslims in general, across the globe. "The most astonishing fact is that the Al Mustafa Trust network of medical care services was available to people without any compromise to their dignity in almost every big city and small town," he said.
He observed eye care centre, paediatric intensive care unit, dialysis unit, eye care centre, physiotherapy, blood bank, lab besides the under construction emergency cardiac care unit and thalassanemia centre within the premises of Al Mustafa Medical Centre, Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Haji Hanif Tayyab, Patron in Chief of Al Mustafa Welfare Centre briefed him about the ongoing as well as upcoming projects of the trust.
