Mixed trend was observed at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Wednesday where bulls dominated the proceedings under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE-10 Index was plus by 1.72 points from 3,159.70 to 3,161.42 points. The overall volume of 1,975,700 shares as compared to previous turnover of 1,659,200 shares.
Total 147 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (79) closed in positive territory and 68 closed in negative zone. The turnover of Arif Habib Securities was 410,900 shares as compared to previous volume of 487,700 shares. The turnover of NIB Bank was 313,000 shares. The volume of DG Khan Cement was 270,600 shares as compared to previous turnover of 196,800 shares.
