The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested Muhammad Afaq Shamsi, Director, Quis Food Industries over the charge of non-payment of bank loan. According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, Shamsi and his other nine co-partners lent around Rs 80 million from Allied Bank.
They returned only Rs 27 million, while rest amount was deliberately pending for years. Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has sent a letter to NAB for taking legal action as per 9/10 NA ordinance 1999 against defaulters. In response to a letter, NAB has arrested Shamsi, who will present before accountability court for judiciary remand, today, the press release revealed.-PR
