BR Commercial Banks Index was the most active sector. It closed at 4,782.16 with a net negative change of -228 points and percentage change of -4.55. The turnover for this sector was 38,104,100.
BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,531.68 with a fall of -2.29 points or -0.15 percent. The turnover for this sector was 3,066,200, which was again the lowest among BRIndices. BR Oil and Gas Index was the second most active sector with a turnover of 32,816,700. It closed at 2,626.33 with a net negative change of -27.6 points and percentage change of -1.04.
