City police on Monday claimed to have arrested 37 suspects from different areas of the metropolis during snap checking and encounters. Police said huge quantity of weapons was also recovered from the suspects' possession including 20 pistols, two revolvers, one motorcycle, seven mobile phones and 317 kg of hashish.
Meanwhile, the injured vice principal of Jamia Millia College Malir, Munir Arain succumbed to injuries here on Monday. He had received bullet wounds a few days back in an incident and was under treatment at Jinnah Hospital, where he expired.
