Arrangements are being finalised to undertake the remaining development work of Sialkot hockey stadium, costing Rs 60 million. Official sources told Business Recorder here on Tuesday that under the plan, pavilion dressing rooms and stands for spectators would be constructed.
The district government has given the approval of funds for initiating the development work on the project. The district administration was making strenuous efforts for the promotion different sports, especially the games of cricket, football and hockey, in this export-oriented city, which is the hub of sports goods manufacturing.
