The first meeting of five-member committee of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), headed by the President, KCCI, Shamim Ahmed Shamsi, is likely to be held with the Sindh Minister for Home, Dr Zulfiqar Ali Mirza today (Thursday) to resolve the issue of weekly holiday and closure of shops on Friday at 9:00 pm.
It is learned that committee will suggest that if Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) assures providing uninterrupted power supply from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, the shopkeepers would be ready to close their shops at 9:00 pm.
