A delegation of students from Darul Uloom Chaman Kot Azad Kashmir visited the old campus of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) here on Thursday. The delegation was briefed by IIUI's Deputy Director Public Relations, Syed Muzammil Hussain and Incharge Media Centre Dawah Academy, Nasir Fareed.
They told the delegation that the university was established in 1980 with just 13 students and only one faculty ie Faculty of Shariah and Law. Now 15,000 students are enrolled in the 9 faculties of the university.
They asked the Madrassah students to equip themselves with modern day communication methods. Principal of the Darul Uloom, Maulana Amjed Abbasi and some students of the Madrassah expressed their keen interest in IIUI activities and congratulated its Rector and President for providing all out guidance to the enrolled students.
