The District Coordination Officer Abdul Aziz Uqaili has called upon councillors, representatives of NGOs, teachers, students and social workers to play their role during the three-day campaign to be conducted from June 10 to 12. He was presiding over a meeting of District EPI and Polio Eradication Committee at his office on Wednesday.
The DCO called upon the officers of District Health Department to make all out efforts to eradicate polio from the district by administering the anti-polio drops to the children of 0-5 years age. Earlier, Executive District Officer Health Larkana Dr Abdul Fateh Bughio while briefing the participants informed that Larkana district had been declared as a "Polio Free District".
