The national interest demands the prompt solution of the issue of deposed judges as it is diverting the attention of the coalition government from addressing the real problems of people in order to counter the challenges facing the country.
Pakistan is not a position to afford any further politics of confrontation as its economy had already received a great hit in the past after witnessing a bitter experience of political crisis on several occasions in the shape of strike, protest, agitation, long march and the demand of mid-term polls. It is a matter of great concern for all political parties.
The entire nation is fed up with the frequent rise in prices of essential commodities, utility charges and transport fares. The nominal expenses of kitchen have gone out of control for a vast majority of people, including white-collar class of the society. The ratios of child labour and poverty are increasing day by day.
According to general information, every person of a family is compelled to earn money to face the challenge of the current state of affairs. The jobless committing suicides. For the first time in the history of Pakistan the frustrated people are killing and selling their children.
There was a time when the acquisition of education was very easy for the children of poor people for better future. Unfortunately, the mounting cost of education has now made it difficult task for this class of the society to educate children from primary to higher level.
It is the responsibility of a welfare state to provide food, education, houses and healthy atmosphere to its all citizens. It is a general perception that the search of food pushes a person to go to any extreme where he removes all the barriers of human ethics. The emergence of number of murders, street crimes, robberies, suicides and other brutal and criminal activities are a reflection of this horrible reality.
Unfortunately, the problem of loadshedding has badly hampered the activities of industrial and trading centres. As a result, Pakistani exporters are unable to fulfil the demands of foreign buyers for lack of production capacity. This issue is causing great monetary loss to the national exchequer.
These are the major problems, which have badly destroyed the peaceful atmosphere of the country. Therefore, the government should adopt prudent policies to seek immediate meaningful solution of all issues in the larger national interests for prompt revival of political stability as most of the foreign and local investors, including domestic traders, are facing a great challenge in the wake of political turmoil in the country.
The nation has accorded a warm support in favour of the present democratic government in the hope to see positive change in the system for improving the standard of living of the people along with fruitful relief package in the upcoming federal budget.
It is, therefore, imperative for all the democratic forces to adopt the policy of reconciliation and work together for the betterment of the people of the country through poverty alleviation and employment generation as well as to control the issues of food and oil inflation, power crisis, insufficient health and education facilities, unsatisfactory law and order situation etc.
