Government would strive hard to eliminate poverty, price hike and unemployment. People should help the government to fight against conspiracies. It was said by Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza, during his open meeting with people at his farm house near Badin and a meeting with officers of District Badin here on Monday.
He said people have supported PPP candidates. They have shown faith and now PPP Government would serve them and rid out all those problems they are facing. People, came from far and wide areas, and complained regarding their problems specially development schemes and unemployment. He said government would provide more and more jobs to educated youths.
He said people of Sindh deserve legitimate right on those resources, which are obtained from Sindh. He directed the officers to serve people and secure their rights. He further said development schemes should be completed within due period and the construction work be on quality basis.
He took stern notice of acute shortage of water and directed irrigation department to supply water to tail end areas and report to him on daily basis. He said he wants to see Badin as exemplary district and he would do his best for development of this district. He also ordered the DPO Badin for the arrest of the men involved in the occupation of the lands belonging to the Layal Community.
Dr Mirza also held a meeting with HESCO officials to solve the problems of the people of Badin district. On this occasion DCO Badin, Agha Wasif, former district Nazim, Kamaal Khan Chang, Dr Musrrat Hussain Khwaja and others were also present.
