International Islamic University (IIU) Islamabad celebrated the 4th anniversary of its House Radio FM 90.6, here on Monday. The ceremony was attended by anchorperson Hamid Mir, Zakir Mohammad Johar, Director Iqbal International Institute of Research and Dialogue (IRD)and Abdul Jabbar Shakir, Director Dawah Academy as well a few other prominent persons.
Hamid Mir said that in the global media era Pakistan channels were facing challenges to come up with requirements of the day. However, it was a fact that both electronic and print media could be used to project the cause of peace and harmony, which is cardinal teaching of Islam.
