A comprehensive mechanism has been evolved to further improve night patrolling and make it purposeful in provincial metropolis under the direction of Capital City Police Chief, Muhammad Pervez Rathore. Under this mechanism performance of officials will be reviewed on daily basis and besides commendatory certificates, prizes will be awarded to officials who will show better results against criminals.
As per details, SP, deputed for night patrolling, will gather all the officials after every four kilometres and ensure that list of criminals as well as snatched vehicles is available with the officials.
He will also review that adequate measures have been taken by them to arrest the criminals in that specific area. The SP after his duty will collect information from all the DSPs, deputed in different divisions, about the performance of the officials and also compile a consolidated report, which will be submitted to SSP Admn. In the light of the report, the performance of official will be reviewed and CCPO will give away prizes to outstanding officials.
The main objective of this system is to monitor the performance of the officials and improvement of night patrolling. Moreover, Capital City Police Officer also paid a surprise visit to police emergency, 15, and reviewed performance of the officials.
