The Secretary, Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has suspended Director, Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHTPA), Bhakkar Nisar Ahmad Zahid and Sub-Engineer, Rasheed Ahmad on charges of malpractice in the area development scheme, Layyah III.
The action was taken under the light of number of complaints received by Chief Secretary, Javed Mahmood, claiming the scheme contractor used cheap material with Zahid's and Sub-Engineer Rasheed Ahmad's connivance. The housing secretary will prepare a charge sheet.
