Firmness prevailed on the grain market on Thursday as almost all commodities held the overnight levels in process of thin trading, dealers said. A few changes were seen on the cereal side, where Urad Burma better type gained Rs 50 to Rs 1850 while the low quality did not show any change in its overnight levels, they said.
Wheat old and new Bardan shed Rs 10 to Rs 2240-2255, grams and rice sectors remained unchanged due to balanced demand and supply position, they noted.
