Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Irfan Ali has ordered installing new tube wells in blocks of Township and Johar Town. His order follows a string of public complaints about water supply and sanitation in the water and sanitation authority service area. Authority's Managing Director Dr Javed Iqbal and other officials concerned were also present.
Iqbal issued directive for posting efficient and polite staff to register public complaints through the authority's help-line and also directed all directors of the authority's operation wing to personally visit the area. He has ordered them to closely watch the performance of field staff.
