Also, 'Pakistan wants a stable Afghanistan so that over three million Afghan refugees living in Pakistan can go back to their homeland with honour and dignity', he added.
Furthermore, a sizeable Pakistani community is contributing largely to the development of Kuwait and is a source of strength for their bilateral relations, he said adding that Pakistan has developed a significant base of trained and skilled manpower, now in a position to meet Kuwait's specific manpower needs, he added. Gilani also thanked the Ambassador for Kuwait's generous help for the relief and rehabilitation in the quake affected areas in Pakistan.
The Ambassador said that Kuwait will continue is all possible support and assistance to Pakistan. He said the Kuwaiti investment will also continue to flow into Pakistan in view of the favourable climate that exists in the country. Further, Al-Dehani was keen to increase the frequency of air flights between the two countries so as to promote people to people contacts and enhance interaction between the business communities of the two countries.
