Chairman, Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (Kati) Shaikh Fazil-e-Jalil has condemned above ten hour load shedding in industrial areas of Karachi by KESC and said that this would completely destroy the industrial production. He said that Kati received above fifty complaints in three days from its members on his unplanned and unregulated load shedding in Korangi industrial area.
He urged the government to take serious notice of it as it would hamper the exports of the country. Jalil said that our industry already facing hard competition from other countries in exports as cost of production is going higher and higher day by day.
He urged governor, chief minister, and Sindh minister for industry and city Nazim to take immediate steps towards this important issue before it is too late. He said that he had put forward our complaints to Chief Executive Officer KESC while having a meeting with him, he told us about his handicaps, but did not apprise us what KESC is doing to improve its working.-PR
