Two policemen were shot dead and an ASI got seriously injured when some unknown assailants opened fire at them in Hub industrial town of Balochistan on Sunday, police said. The victims have been identified as head constable Barsat and constable Imam Bakhsh who received severe bullet wounds and died at the scene.
The injured has been identified as ASI Khalil Ahmed who has been shifted to Hub civil hospital for treatment where doctors stated about his condition to have a mere chance of survival. The policemen were on routine patrolling of the area, when unknown armed men targeted them. The assailants managed to escape from the scene. Police have cordoned off the area and started search for the assailants.
