A passer-by was hurt and windowpanes of nearby buildings shattered after a powerful explosive device planted by unknown saboteurs exploded at TNT Chowk, close to Governor House here Monday, police said. The explosives were planted near PTCL office opposite the Governor House, which exploded with a loud bang hurting a passerby slightly.
DIG (Investigation) Rehmatullah Niazi, SSP City Qazi Muhammad Wahid and senior police officials reached the spot soon after the explosion. Police cordoned off the area and started investigation.
